Finally!

Here you are at Nana's playing with your favorite toy- the dog crate! And...a picture of you with Bonesy! (: It's very hard to capture the photographer in a snapshot- job well done, Nana! (:

Snowed In!

Today we start digging out from a monster snow storm! We are lucky because Dad even stayed home today. You started the day with your daily dancing at the gate and then moved on to waving to all the new snow. After your morning greetings, you moved on to your toys and your favorite of all- a bell. We may even try a venture out to all this white stuff later this afternoon. I'm just happy that I get 4 days with you. (:

Check-up

So you had your 9 month check-up yesterday...and you passed with flying colors. (: You weigh 19lbs7oz and you are 28.25 inches long (65% and 75%, respectively). You did not enjoy your visit to the doctor at all, but I don't know if anyone ever loves medical appointments.

You are making all kinds of new sounds and your dad and I swear we've heard the beginning of "doggy." "Ma" is now a frequent request, as well as "dada." You have even started to stand for a few seconds without holding onto something in your pac n'play (your training pen while mom gets ready in the morning), but then it's straight down to your knees or belly from there. You can clap when we play pat-a-cake and you have mastered peek-a-boo (yours and our favorite).

Sledding!

Here you are at Nana's going sledding. (: Apparently you didn't like it that much at first, but after a few sessions, you got the hang of it. Maybe next year we can try downhill skiing, so by 2014 you'll be ready for the Olympics in Sochi, Russia! Or we'll just stick to sledding. (:

Snow Day= Fun!

Today I had a snow day, so we had fun all day- inside! We even played "school" with some of your stuffed animals to celebrate the fact that your mom didn't have to be at work. (:
You are growing up so fast, Yvette. Speaking of growing...judging by your pants and knowing that they aren't capris, I think it's time to put away all of your 6-9 month clothing!

Bows and Books

Here you are with your first bow in your hair. (: Cousin Leslie got them for you, so I thought we could put on a little fashion show and accessorize. You then got into the books, LegoLand specifically.
Nana noticed this week that you are starting to dance when one of your toys plays a song...you look absolutely adorable! You have also started to clap your hands and you continue to hand your wet kisses out sparingly.
See you soon, Grammie and Pop!

Many Hats To Wear...

Last night we had fun playing dress up with your hats. (: You liked them all, except for the visor. But once it was off, you were fine.

Birthdays and Groundhogs!

Happy Birthday Gammie(Jane) and Jackie! Jane's birthday was yesterday and Jackie's is today- so a two day celebration! We love you and can't wait to see you in two weeks!(:

Bring Home Some Sun, Grammie and Pop!

You are spending the whole week with Nana and Bonesy because Grammie and Pop are in Florida. We wish we were there with them soaking in some sun because we certainly aren't getting any here. Speaking of Florida...in a few years we hope to take you on your first trip there to Disney and Sea World. My Aunt Patty took me there when I was a little girl and I have the best memories from our trips.

Hopefully you will take a nap today. Your sleep and eating habits seem to be changing as you are hitting the 9 month mark. You are sleeping less and becoming a more choosy eater. You now call all dogs and cats "ba" and "dada" is still your favorite word.

Have a great week, Grammie and Pop! We'll miss you!
